I started mapping late 2006 for Unreal Tournament.
Mainly using BSP. I made Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture The Flag Levels for UT. Numerous Obstacle courses filled with traps and puzzles for a gamemode named BunnyTrack where also done by me. The Software mainly used was UED2.0 & Photoshop.
Back in 2014 when Epic Games released Unreal Engine 4 to the public. I hopped on the train early as could be and started experimenting with it. On my work page you can check out some of the environments I made using the Engine.
Currently i'm doing this as a hobby, but if given the opportunity I would pursue a career as Level Artist.
